Imagine MKE advances and advocates for arts, culture, and creative industries across the Milwaukee region. When we started our collective impact process, we brought in Paul and Dominique to convene the arts sector and help us find our “north star.” I loved the process – it was fabulous. 

There is so much competition in the sector given limited resources and yet we had 100 people authentically and intentionally diversify and build trust in that group. We took off our individual hats and could think together to make all boats rise. It wasn’t just people from the arts & culture sector – it included the city, the county, foundations and funders. Since we started convening in 2016, we now see a lot more collaboration – art group leaders get together, funders are collaborating, small art organizations are looking for strategic partnerships. That’s a multiplier effect from the example set by the process Dominique and Paul facilitated.
