Birth to Five Illinois supports the mobilization of communities to build and sustain equitable access ato inclusive, high-quality Early Childhood services for all children and families in the state of Illinois. Dominique has facilitated trainings for our staff across the state.

 

We did a training on collective impact and cohorts of staff have participated in the Adaptive Leadership training. From planning to facilitation, Dominique is thorough. She listens and assesses what we’re able to accomplish together.

Retreats

Client Snapshot: Retreats

As a Fellow in the Collective Leadership Advances Racial Equity (CLARE) program, I participated in the Embodying Authenticity retreat that Dominique led. I thought it would focus on the same leadership tools I’ve been given before, but I was surprised.

 

It really had me focus deeply on myself and think about the patterns in my life. In my experience, I was trying to model my leadership style after others. I realized that I didn’t have to be them. I can be myself and be a great leader. I no longer have to wear this fake mask. I recently recommended this type of training when talking with other Executive Directors because I think there’s a real need for this support.
